Last week Grandma, Jason, Mia, and I went to visit Josh's Grandpa and his Great Grandma (who is 96! Just a little tidbit: there are 5 generations alive on that side of the family!! Isn't that amazing?!). One of the highlights of the day was Jason riding in the combine. When he got out of Grandpa's truck he was jumping up and down saying, "I get to ride in that! I get to ride in that!" Grandpa just got the biggest kick out of how excited he was to be able to ride in the combine.

The Beautiful Weather
Lately our weather has been so so beautiful; unusually warm for November. This has been so much fun because we have had extra days to be outside and play. When Josh is home on the weekends Jason and Mia have so much fun doing crazy things. This time they had races down the hill in the backyard before we headed off for a walk. Here are some of my favorite pictures.
If you look closely you can see Jason running full speed toward the geese. He just couldn't help himself.
Pumpkin Carving
Josh didn't get around to carving the pumpkin until after Halloween but it was worth the wait. Jason and Mia jumped right in to help clean the pumpkin out, which they also thought was gross. This year's pumpkin went with the Pirate theme from the marching band season this year. It was pretty funny when Jason a little while after Josh was done exclaimed, 'You did the same thing as on your t-shirt!' Josh designed the t-shirts for band this year and used the same design for his pumpkin. He is so good at this!! I don't even do a pumpkin, there is no need; mine would not even be close to as good as what he does!
I love color but it was nice to just have some black and white toned pictures too.

Tents
Okay, now don't judge me because of how these rooms look. :) Or that it seems like my children always have dirty faces in pictures. (maybe I shouldn't have told you that, you might not have noticed. haha.)
For a couple days Jason and Mia (I say both of them but a lot of the time Jason thinks up things and gets Mia to do it too) but they were on a tent kick. At one time we had three tents made in different rooms of the house. Aren't I a nice mother? :)

Our lawn always gets so many leaves during fall! The front yard is worse. We have three pin oaks that drop all winter long. But one Saturday we went out to play and clean. :) Before we cleaned up the leaves Josh raked a path that Jason and Mia loved to run on. We also had to have a big pile to jump into! And this year Jason added swinging from the tree. Since we did not have a rope Josh used an extension cord. Can you say, "You might be a redneck if...." haha.
He's a little out of focus, sorry! :(
Mia had to get in on the fun too!
Here's jumping from the tree, which turned in to swinging from the tree!
Jason had to show me his pink were wolf teeth which he got at the Halloween party. He wore them for days afterward. :)
The Master Raker
Mia riding down the hill on the path! I think she was having fun, but she doesn't look 100% sure about.
One day I trying to take some pictures of her in the leaves and she insisted on using the reflector but decided that it would be best used for her to lay on instead.
Halloween Party
Jason and Mia got to go to a Halloween Party with their cousin on the Taylor side. They had a lot of fun doing a scavenger hunt, eating lots of yummy party food, and even helping to break a pinata.
Look at those cheeks! And that expression!
But she loved being dressed up as Minnie!
I don't know why I can get their faces! Everytime so far that they have done something cute like hug each other they are always turned away from me and I can't get around to the other side fast enough. :)
Look at that face!!
Mia was trying to make her feel better. Awww!
We finally got pictures of the two girls after the party
Cousins! And everyone had to have a baby doll! Too much fun!
