North Mankato Fun Days

These pictures are in no particular order.  Later I'll probably be posting some of the 4th of July. :)  Oh well. This was such a great family outing.  We recommend it to anyone in the Mankato area.  I don't think we did all the activities.  We always love parades!

Jason was wondering when the parade was going to start.....

I noticed this couple across the street reading their papers.  I thought, "how cute!"  They were just enjoying the beautiful day waiting for the parade reading a paper. :)

Then we found a little petting zoo at Wheeler Park.  Jason and Mia were having so much fun petting the animals until.....
One kitty grabbed on a little too tight.
 Mia spotted some horses!

to be continued.......

Jason

During the summer months we try as much as we can to go to the park and play outside.  So we tend to get a lot of park pictures.  These were taken at Seven Mile Creek at the request of Jason. :)  He is growing up so fast!

June

June began with Josh's birthday and Jason and Mia staying for 2 whole weeks down at my parents house in Missouri.  So we got to do fun things, just the two of us.  We played tennis, ran, went to the beach, it was a wonderful kid-free stay-cation.  Don't worry we missed them too.  We called almost every night. :)  One of the things we got to do was frisbee golf.

We are intense frisbee golfers it looks like! ha! :)

The end of June brought another move.  The week or so before we moved the pool was finally open.  We couldn't NOT swim before we left.  I am in love with how these turned out!! They are so some of my favorites of the summer!

 Top fav below!
 He's so die-hard.  He's freezing but won't stop swimming. :)

I am so so so tired!  Yes, it's only 10:47 p.m.  That's late for me!  But I had to blog some pictures!  It has been toooooooooooo long.  Finally I get to finish my Memorial Day post.  Oh boy, I have some catching up to do!  AHHH!

 What a goofy bunch!

All 4 grandchildren!  (well, now there's 5, but back then....)
Josh finally decided to pitch in!  :) It just seems that way since I am only posting pictures of him helping now.

Christina getting down from the rafters.

My parents love plants.  I love going home because there are so many beautiful flowers, trees, plants, and just all around great wildlife.  I couldn't resist taking some pictures of these beauty's.
