First Spring walk of the year!!!

The sun was shining and we needed to be outdoors.  It was such a beautiful evening.  We ventured down to the bike trail and let Jason try out his bike he got for his birthday.  It didn't take long for him to be zooming down the trail leaving us in his dust.

Mia got to ride in the stroller.

with her baby...
And she had to show me her fingernails; Aunt Hannah painted them.

We are off!!!...except at first he wouldn't let Josh take his hands off his back. :)
What is this face?
Then we went down to the bike trail....

First I have to share the wonderful news of my nephew.  He was born March 5th, 2010.   He weighed 8 lbs. and 3 oz.  and was 20 inches long.  We got to visit this last weekend and he seems like such a good baby.  He barely made a peep except when he wanted to eat.  He was perfectly content to just sleep.

Mia just cannot help herself.  She loves babies!!
He's still cute even when he's fussing. :)

We are on October, I think!

Lately I've been thinking that when our children get married they are going to have way way way too many pictures to choose from for their slideshows.
At the beginning of October we got to go watch my brother play football one game at least.  It was MLC's homecoming.  Unfortunately he didn't actually play, but he looked good in his uniform. :)  While we were waiting for the game to start there were a few family friendly activities to do.  One was walking around in a huge ball.  Very fun.  I would recommend it to anyone who gets a chance.

Who can resist a little friendly competition?
It wasn't really a fair race though 15-21 year olds against 3-4 year olds. ha!

He was easy to spot too.  (He's the one in the white hat. :) )

My brother and all his nieces and nephews.  Although March 5th brought the birth of another nephew.

October is usually the month for Autumn Acres.  We have really been enjoying visiting this greenhouse two years in a row now.  They have some really awesome activities for children and families to do together.

Then we decided to try some new ideas for some family pictures and pictures of Jason and Mia.  Which I love how they turned out. :)
How adorable are they?  Really?
Ha!  Now don't get traumatized from these next pictures.  And definitely don't reveal Jason's secret identity................
Underwear Man!!!
Mia had to get in on it too!
Back to the cute pictures, except she had a boo boo on her nose. :(

Jason and Mia also got to go to a Halloween party with their cousin.  1st Halloween party!  They had a blast!
Their cousin taking a turn at the pinata
Look at those cheeks! :)
Looking at some pictures!  Someone must not like what she sees.

Cousins!
idk :)
In the fall we get a ton of leaves!!  Last year I was trying to rake all of them by myself, but not this year!!

Pink teeth from the party!
Jumping out of trees!
You might be a redneck if: you use an extension cord as a rope swing!
Halloween!  Now it was Mia's cousin's turn for the Minnie costume.  Mia got to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and Jason was Buzz Lightyear.
It is an annual tradition for Josh to carve a pumpkin.  It all started when I was pregnant with Jason (little joey, or j-bird as we called him back then).  That Halloween Josh carved a fetus.  Remind me next year to post pictures of all the previous pumpkins.  This year the theme was Pekin Pirates.
