One Friday morning in November Jason, Mia, and I made our way to Leighton, Iowa, to visit Timber Hills Farm. Timber Hills Farm offers horse-riding lessons and trains English saddle seat horses (I don't remember exactly what breed of horse they have). But Jason and Mia got to ride a pony and in a cart behind one of the horses while it was being worked. They also got to pet some kitties, see sheep, and one of Jason's fav things - helping to drive a tractor dumping manure. :) Even though it was a cold day, we had so much fun! Mia instantly became a horse enthusiast and hopped right on. Jason took a little more coaxing to get him on the horse, but once he got the hang of it he didn't want to stop.
