MLC Homecoming

One of my younger brothers started at Martin Luther College this past fall. He is also on the football team, so for MLC's homecoming we traveled up to New Ulm, MN. It was a chilly day and made me realize that I don't miss Minnesota weather at all! A couple of aunts, an uncle, cousin, and grandpa plus brothers and sisters made quite a big group.
He wore a white hat which made him easy to spot!

Jason and my cousin

Before the game started we got to play with some very fun inflatable balls.  Jason and Mia loved this!!

Here are Jason and I in the inflatable ball!  I have to say it was super fun!

Of course the cousins had to try it out after they figured out how fun it really was!
And how could anyone blame us for having a little race! :)

On your marks! Get set! Go!

Any everyone's other fav "The Balloon Animal".  Both boys ended up with bees, I had not ever seen those made before and of course don't have a picture :(

After the game was over we had to get some pictures with my brother and his four (soon to be five) nieces and nephews.  And my favorite part is coming too.....

Here's my favorite part, after we were done taking pictures some other people can up and asked for his autograph!! lol!

Problem solved......

Haha! I feel so silly now.  I searched blogger help and someone suggested checking the buttons on the top right side of the new post window.  If the "edit HTML" button is clicked the image upload button won't appear.  You have to have the "compose" button clicked.  Yes!  So here come some pictures!

Bummed......

Okay well I was going to post some pictures from going to New Ulm for MLC's homecoming. One of my younger brothers is going there this year and decided to see if he was tough enough for college football. Jason, Mia, and I went up there along with my parents, brothers and sisters, and even a few aunts, an uncle, a cousin, and a grandpa. It was a very chilly day. It made me realize how much I do NOT miss Minnesota winters! I am just so disappointed I can't post any pictures and I just don't know why because I have always been able to post them. As soon I as can I am going to post as many pictures as I can! :)

In September I got the privilege of doing some second shooting at a wedding in Des Moines for Erik Notz from Inspired Images. It was great to get out and do some photography! Here are some of the images I took from the wedding.

Pretty Make-up Mia

Just tonight I found Mia in the bathroom. She was "getting pretty". I forgot to put my make-up bag up and Mia, who loves putting makeup on, found it. A picture is worth a thousand words. Enjoy!

Emptying the Gross Pool

"A stitch in time saves nine." During the summer we were gone for a week, and while we were gone our pool got all gross. Well, we had already cleaned it out once after being gone and didn't feel up for the task again. So the pool had just become a gross green soup. Today was the day to relieve the pool of its duty. Yep! We let the water out. Jason and Mia decided that it would be a blast to play in the water, of course. :) They were convinced that it was clean now. A couple cups and whales helped them have a ton of fun!

Finally, a Bumblebee Transformer! All is well in the world!

Jason has been wanting a BumbleBee Transformer for months. The deal was he had to do different jobs to help around the house, that were SUPPOSED to be extra jobs other than what he should just do anyway. :) We finally got the "Transformer Adventure" sheet filled up! Yeah! I think I was just as excited as him to finally be able to get a BumbleBee Transformer! And ever since BumbleBee was taken from the package he has been with us everywhere.
