Problem solved......

Haha! I feel so silly now.  I searched blogger help and someone suggested checking the buttons on the top right side of the new post window.  If the "edit HTML" button is clicked the image upload button won't appear.  You have to have the "compose" button clicked.  Yes!  So here come some pictures!
